One of my closest friends just turned 30 and we decided to have a formal dinner party to celebrate the wonderful event. We set-up the party in the backyard for an Italian-style 3-course meal. The evening started with pink lemonade martini's, mojito's and wine!

The tables were draped in black and adorned with white Gerber daisies and candles.

The appetizer was mint, ricotta salata and watermelon skewers. We had two different salads, the first was heirloom tomato & mozzarella salad and the second was summer fruit salad with marcona almonds and arugula. The main course was herb-mustard crusted pork loin with green beans and roasted potatoes.

The evening ended with a dessert trio of red velvet petit fours, caramel-chocolate fleur de sel truffles and vanilla ice cream.

We had a great time and enjoyed everything!
